Patient 1: When I first called Dr. Zimmer's office I was in a desperate situation and did not know who I could turn to and trust with the dental work that I needed at the time. Half of my front tooth had broken off and I was in a very emotional state of mind; let me emphasize my front tooth was half gone! The predicament I found myself in with the front tooth half broken off was caused by the current dentist that I had had for many years and did not trust that particular dentist to do anymore work on my teeth and I was going to have a hard time trusting anyone else. I spent several hours surfing the Web and making phone calls to dentist offices in the Albuquerque area and also asked co-workers for referrals to their family dentist. I could not get a good gut feeling on any of the offices that I called so I kept searching, and then I came upon Dr. Zimmer's Web site. His website showed before and after pictures of individuals that he had provided dental services for and was impressed by the results in the pictures. I also, liked his reviews and read that he had been named Albuquerque's Top Dentist in “Albuquerque, The Magazine,” I could only pray and hope that he would be a good dentist and that he would provide the extra care that I needed for my front tooth. Now, I can testify that Dr. Zimmer did a superb job on my front teeth and I am and have been extremely happy with the work that he provided and the care that he and his staff have given my husband and me. If you are in a similar situation or have been looking for a good knowledgeable and experienced dentist I would not hesitate to call on Dr. Zimmer.

His staff is professional, personable, caring, and of equal importance, his administrative staff files dental claims expeditiously and flawlessly. Patient 4: I’m really happy with the work Dr. Zimmer did for me. He replaced my fillings, placed crowns and added veneers on my front teeth. There was little pain, and they did a great job making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The staff at Dr. Zimmer’s was super friendly too. As for Dr. Z, he is great chairside. He creates beautiful smiles that will last. While my insurance was a big help in getting this dental work done, Dr. Zimmer’s prices were reasonable and competitive compared to other dentists in Albuquerque. I highly recommend Dr. Zimmer’s practice.

Patient 7: Dr. Zimmer and his staff take an extremely proactive approach to caring for their patients. Going to the Dentist has always bee an uncomfortable necessity for me. My history was extensive starting out as a kid when I had to get braces, and learned I had too many teeth for my small mouth. Needless to say, I spent time having oral surgery, and getting my braces tightened, (teenager in the 1980s). I made numerous visits throughout my life to protect the investment my parents made, by getting regular check-ups and cleanings.

When Dr. Zimmer took over the Albuquerque practice from Dr. Carlsen, I was a bit wary, because I was comfortable with Dr. Carlsen. I quickly learned that Dr. Zimmer is a perfectionist in Dentistry, and really strived to stay on top of the latest trends of best equipment and materials to use, as well as Cosmetic procedures. Having had much dental care throughout my life (including getting my wisdom teeth extracted), I knew this is a professional I could trust. His advice and diagnosis of issues that come up with my teeth have been resolved (fillings, crowns, etc.) and always in a comfortable environment, and pain-free.

The entire staff is friendly, and extremely professional. Everyone always makes you feel like they are happy to see you and they all enjoy their jobs. Their competency in what they do really helps to take away any fear or hesitation I have ever had in going to a dentist. The staff even calls the next day (after a filling or procedure) to ensure all is well, and the tooth or teeth are feeling ok.

Currently, my teenage son got his braces off, and he is now also a patient of Dr. Zimmer’s, and I know he will always get the best care possible. I have recommended him to other friends whom have also felt Dr. Zimmer and his staff were exceptional in their trade, and have seen improvement in their teeth, and continue to return, knowing they will be valued and cared for, by the staff.

Patient 8: Several years ago, I had Dr. Zimmer place veneers on 2 of my top front teeth. I had a whole new smile when the procedure was finished. You can’t even tell that they are veneers- they look completely natural. I went in to have another crown placed on a molar a year ago. The staff was again pleasant and professional and very patient with me and I had no pain!

Dr. Zimmer has a beautiful and clean office and a wonderful staff. And while I don’t have dental insurance, I think his pricing was fair and close to the pricing other dentists in Albuquerque offer. I think anyone looking to have cosmetic dental procedures in Albuquerque should see Dr. Zimmer!
